Dr. Matthew Robin

Psychiatrist

I am a board-certified psychiatrist and treat mainly adults with a wide variety of needs. Some of these may include Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar and Adult ADHD.

I received my bachelors of science at the University of Wisconsin Madison. I went to Medical School at Touro University. I completed my psychiatry residency training at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in 2015. Currently I am an Adjunct Professor at Rosalind Franklin University and teach PA students at Midwestern University, Chamberlain University, and Rush Medical College.

At Brightland Health I promote a judicious approach to prescribing medication along with concurrent therapies.

In addition to medication management, I encourage healthy lifestyle choices. It is important to treat each person as an individual. I will work with you to find the best possible treatment that fits your unique needs. I both encourage and facilitate self-help. My goal is to make a difference and help you improve the quality of your life. A brighter future awaits you.

Reviews

"Dr. Robin has been absolutely amazing. I've spent a number of years having very bad experiences with previous psychiatrists, doctors I stayed with because I couldn't find anyone better. That was until I found Dr. Robin.

Unlike other psychiatrists I've had, I actually feel as though our doctor-patient relationship is a partnership working for my well-being. He is confident and knowledgable in his recommendations without making me feel as thought they were dictates we could not discuss with or adjust. He consistently takes my opinions and needs into consideration, and we work as a team to come up with the best treatment plan possible.

Dr. Robin genuinely cares about his patients. He has always made me feel like I'm more than just a diagnosis. He wants to know how I'm actually doing in life and not just about what symptoms are showing up at the moment.

I would without a doubt recommend Dr. Robin to anyone. But I especially recommend him to people who have had a hard time finding a doctor who they find truly competent, supportive, genuine, and caring."
