Megan Brese, LCPC
Therapist
I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, and received my Master’s degree in Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. I have experience providing individual and group therapy to adults in outpatient and inpatient settings. I specialize in anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress-related issues.
I have worked with clients utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Distress Tolerance, Interpersonal Effectiveness, Behavioral Activation, and Mindfulness to assist them in addressing a wide variety of needs and build coping skills.
I believe in the importance of empathy, respect, and support in the therapeutic relationship, meeting clients where they are, and working collaboratively on goals.
I will strive to help you identify your strengths and find the tools you may need to promote growth and healing, while also providing compassion and warmth.
